Terms of service

The agreement between you and us when you ask for a free sample or pay for a plan. The short version: you own your video and every clip we make from it, plans run month to month, and you can cancel any time before your next billing date.

01

Who we are and this agreement

In shortThese Terms are an agreement between you and Reframe Lab. Sending us a video means you accept them.

Reframe Lab ("we", "us") is a content studio based in India that turns long videos into short clips. By sending us a free-sample request or paying for a plan, you agree to these Terms and to how we handle your data, set out in our Privacy policy.

You must be 16 or over. If you're 16 or 17, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

If you use the service for a business, or for a channel you run with others, you confirm you're allowed to agree on their behalf.

02

The free sample

In short2 clips from one long video, back within 48 hours. No card, no commitment.

Send a link to one long video on YouTube, Google Drive or Dropbox, and we'll cut 2 clips from it and email them to you within 48 hours. It's free, we don't ask for a card, and it doesn't sign you up to anything.

The clock starts once we can open your video, so make sure anyone with the link can view it. We may decline a request, for example if we can't open the link, the video breaks these Terms or you've already had a free sample.

03

Your content

In shortYou keep every right to your video. You promise you're allowed to send it, and we use it only to make your clips.

When you send us a video, you confirm that:

  • You own it, or have the rights to have it edited and posted, including any music, footage or images in it.
  • The people who appear in it have agreed to it being used this way.
  • It isn't illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

You give us a limited permission to copy, edit and process your video, including with the AI and editing tools described in our Privacy policy, only to make and deliver your clips. You keep all rights to it, and the permission ends when we've deleted our working files.

We may refuse to edit content that breaks these rules. If someone claims your video infringes their rights, we may pause work on it until it's resolved.

Plans and billing

In shortMonth to month, paid up front in US dollars. Cancel before your next billing date.

Plans run month to month. Cancel before your next billing date. Each month is billed at the start, after your free samples. The plans are:

  • Starter: $199 a month for 10 clips from up to 2 long videos, 1 revision round per clip, delivered within 72 hours.
  • Growth: $449 a month for 25 clips from up to 5 long videos, 2 revision rounds per clip, delivered within 48 hours.
  • Premium: $899 a month for 40 clips from up to 8 long videos, 3 revision rounds per clip, delivered within 24 hours (8 3D hero clips within 5 days).

Add-ons are charged on top:

  • Extra pack of 5 clips: $85, one-time charge.
  • Posting and scheduling on 3 platforms: $99, billed monthly.
  • Thumbnail or cover image: $5, charged per item.
  • One extra 3D animated hero clip: $60, one-time charge.

Prices are in US dollars, and any taxes the law requires are added on top. Payments go through a third-party payment provider. These are launch prices: if we change them, we'll email you at least 30 days before, and the new price starts from your next billing date after that.

05

Starting a plan

In shortA work order isn't a charge or a contract. Your plan starts once you've paid the first invoice.

You can start a plan on our Start a plan page. Nothing is charged there: we email you an invoice and kickoff details within 24 hours.

The totals on your work order are an estimate before taxes. The invoice is what you pay. Your plan, and these Terms for it, start once the first invoice is paid. Until then you can change or withdraw your order by replying to our email, and we may decline it.

06

Delivery and revisions

In shortClips arrive in one shared folder within your plan's turnaround. Unused clips carry into the next month, once.

Clips arrive in one shared folder. Ask for changes on any of them. Your plan's turnaround starts once we can open the video you send. A revision round is one round of changes you ask for on a clip we've delivered.

Unused clips carry into the next month, once. If you don't send enough video to use a month's clips, the rest roll over the same way.

07

Cancelling and refunds

In shortCancel any time before your next billing date. Paid months aren't refunded, but we deliver them in full.

To cancel, email hello@reframelab.in before your next billing date. You won't be charged again, and we still deliver every clip for the month you've paid for, as long as you've sent us the videos.

Paid months and add-ons aren't refunded, in full or in part. Instead, unused clips roll over once, as described above. This doesn't affect any refund the law entitles you to.

08

Who owns what

In shortYou own every clip and graphic we make for you. We show them only with your permission.

Every clip and graphic we make for you is yours to keep. Free-sample clips are yours straight away, and plan clips once the month is paid. You can use them anywhere, including commercially.

We keep our own tools, templates, presets and know-how, and we may use them for other clients, but never your footage or the designs we made for your brand.

We show your clips in our portfolio or ads only with your permission, and we ask each time.

09

Posting for you

In shortIf we post for you, you give us access and stay responsible for your accounts.

With the posting and scheduling on 3 platforms add-on, we publish your clips to your accounts on the schedule we agree. You give us access, ideally through a scheduling tool or team access rather than your password, and you can take it back any time.

We use that access only to post your clips, and stop when the add-on ends. You stay responsible for your accounts and for following each platform's rules.

10

No guaranteed results

In shortWe make clips built to perform, but we can't promise views, followers or income.

How a clip performs depends on platforms, timing and audiences we don't control. We don't guarantee any number of views, followers, sales or income.

11

Limits on our liability

In shortIf something goes wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 3 months.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, views or opportunities.

The free sample is provided as it is, free of charge. Keep your own copy of your original video: we're not a backup service.

12

Pausing or ending the service

In shortWe may stop working with you if you break these Terms. You can stop any time.

We may pause or end the service if you break these Terms, for example by sending content you don't have the rights to, or by not paying. We'll tell you why by email. You can stop working with us at any time by cancelling.

13

Governing law

In shortThese Terms follow the laws of India. Your local consumer rights still apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India. If you're a consumer in another country, you keep any protections its law gives you. Before any formal step, email us: most problems are quicker to fix by talking.

14

Changes and contact

In shortEvery change gets a new date at the top. Clients hear about important ones first.

When we change these Terms, we update the date at the top of the page. If a change affects clients, we'll email you before it applies, and it starts from your next billing date.
